Be strong and courageous, do not be discouraged.

The Power of Prayer.

'Sing to the lord a new song, his praise in the assembly of the saints.' Psalm 149:1

Today I woke up angry. And by angry, I mean I was down right mad and yelling at everyone. I basically went off on anyone who talked to me this morning, which wasn't exactly a good thing since my volunteering involves children. I tried every way this morning to not sit there and just be angry. Then people at lunch started blaming me for things that were totally not my fault, but I appreciate that they apologized. I sorta explained what was going on to my favorite person in the entire world, and she told me it would be okay. I just hope so. Today, I also got in somewhat of an argument with a very close friend of mine. I realized after I just sat there that maybe this mood I'm in made me overreact. After I had a chat with Mrs.Joye and Mr.Ken, I decided that I would make the rest of my day better. Mr.Ken said a wonderful prayer for me. I really appreciate what he did. They power of God that came through Mr.Ken just lifted weights off my shoulders. It made me realize that people are going to make mistakes and that I'm not perfect. I'm glad I'm in a place like that where I can just be with people who support me no matter what. I apologized to my friend, but I'm not sure if she accepts it or not. The future is just God's plan for me. We'll see what happens. The power of prayer makes me stronger in my faith.

Indescribable.

So, today started off wonderfully. I got to the church and played with Mollie. Waiting for Ms.Tonya to get there then we headed off to breakfast at MES in the big Eagle Heights bus. Next, it's time for assembly and as always, I do the sounds. Then it's hanging with Prek/k for bible drills. After that, we head over to the other building to do the lesson and play a game. After that, it's time for Fun in the Son (I go help Tonya's group, :D) and lunch time. I eat lunch with the beautiful Kristin and help everyone get ready for swimming. We finally leave 40 minutes later than we are supposed to, to get to Tanglewood to take the prek/k swimming. I spent this lovely afternoon with Mrs. Joye, Joslynn and Kristen. They are amazing. After we returned from swimming, it's time for a round of Uno with the wonderful Tonya, and then my mom shows up. We get to go to Ketchie Creek and I got some amazing cookies. Mmmm.

OH MY GOSH! Today, I got to see the most beautiful little girl in the entire world. Emma King, OH MY GOSH. I was so excited. I saw her and was like EMMMMMMAAAAAA. She's my FAVORITE little kid in this entire world. Her daddy is amazing and I love him too. I just wish I got to see that little girl so much more. I love her. ♥

I get home and then I find something out that makes me want to explode. And by explode, I don't even have words to describe the anger that was pouring out of me. I mean, I just don't understand why. I mean there is no one this year I looked up to more, and then said person does something like this. I'm not sure that I will ever look at this person the same. I mean, everyone knows I absolutely love this person, and I always will. And, I know you will read this. You are still my home skillet. You're still the most amazing person I met last year. I don't exactly know what I'd have done without you. And like I said, I do not understand how you dealt with obnoxious people. They make me gag. I'll always be here for you, no matter what. I know we can talk about anything, and we'll always be like that. I promise. I love you.

I miss this.

Urrrggghhh

Today was slightly less than to be desired. I love hanging out with second grade. I just wish I was allowed to. I'm exhausted. I drove thru McDonald's and Walgreens. Ugh, I ate my supper of chicken nuggets and french fries and watched 7th Heaven and now I'm watching The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

I've had a long week. Tomorrow, I'm only gonna be at the church until like two. Hallelujah! I'm ready to get my walking shoes on and walk for the Relay for Life on Friday night. Wooo!

This has been one of the roughest weeks of my life. I'm so ready for it to be over with. I am in one heck of a terrible mood. The same person has put me in a terrible mood twice this week. I don't understand why they deal with this character. It just makes me angry, but I knew that before I started this summer. I just wish it would let me be with the people I want to be, but everyone knows that's never going to happen.

Anyway, I love seeing Ms.Tonya's beautiful face. It makes my days. She's one of the only people with sense around there. I dislike some people's attitudes that bring me down. Tonya somehow lifts it up and makes me feel so much better. Her hugs help me get through every day. If nothing changes, my tentative schedule makes seeing Ms.Tonya a whole lot easier. I have fourth period in K first semester and in G second semester. She's amazing, and I hope we stay close. I really don't know who else I'd go to for my hugs. She's close to the only person I'd actually hug. I know she doesn't have any germs. I have a fear of some people's germs.

Also, I was texting Brittany yesterday, and I decided I really miss her. And by really missing her, I hate that we don't talk much anymore. I'm thinking we're going to be close a really long time. She's not like everyone else, and I'm so glad for that. Brittany, I love ya!

Ehh, I think I'm done here for tonight.

Chippin' away at good ole frost mountain (:

Yesterday, I attended camp as usual. Ms.Tonya and Krista were both there. Krista invited me to go with them to Y4J Camp with them for worship that night. Oh my. Those two ladies are amazing. We were going to stop and eat at Miller's, but they were closed, so we headed off to Zeko's. At Zeko's Krista and I about died laughing at like everything. It was so fun. After that, Krista drove us to Kannapolis where camp is, and we listened to some music and talked about things and stuff. At the worship service, I walk in and Macey runs up to me and gives me the biggest hug EVER. We get out and find that the power is off at camp, so we are having worship outside. Boo! That was HOT. I sat with Tonya and Macey. Ms.Tonya decided to take Mack's plate and we used that as a fan and she kept hitting me and Macey with it. After the service, Tonya, Krista, and I headed home. We stopped by McD's in Salisbury and got us some drink. Mmm, it was hot. They brought me home and I slept until my alarm went off this morning... and then I remembered... how much I hate water day/ Tonya's day off.

Today:
Got to camp and the wonderful Mr.T went and bought Katrina and I some breakfast at McD's. Then, I had to get everyone gathered for breakfast. I have never seen so many slow eaters. I like the days where Tonya drives the bus. That is so much easier. Next it's time to head off to the sound booth where I do the music for assembly. Oh what fun. After that, it's time to head off and play with Prek/K. That is just peachy. While they were doing an obstacle course, Kathryn and I started setting up for water day. Around 12 I ate lunch with Miss Kristin and had a nice conversation. After that, the real fun begins. Krista gets there. Mrs.Joye sends Krista and I to the kitchen to put ice and water in the coolers. Oh boy. That was big fun. Krista and I spent the rest of the afternoon together. We experienced water fights, chipping away at the ice mountain, and of course making raps about our day. By the time four thirty rolled around, both of us were EXHAUSTED. Krista and I headed down to the youth room and sat with Kristin, Jenny and Claire.

Mom picked me up. We drove thru Bojangles. Came home and ate. I took a shower and folded my laundry. Thinking it's about bedtime.... and it's only 6:41.

Amazing love.. how can it be??

For those of you who actually care; these past weeks have been a complete blur.

1. School ended.
We got schedules and such. I have to call to get mine repaired. Fail on the guidance department.

2. Day Camp starts:
First week went well. I love being a counselor. The little kids are the whole reason I wake up and get ready to start celebrating Jesus. Another thing is, I LOVE seeing the beautiful Tonya every day. She's so funny, and I know I can talk to her about everything. I apologized for calling her an old lunch lady today. She said, 'LORD YES! I forgive you!' Ahh, she's amazing. Hugs from her are the most special thing about my day. It wouldn't be the same without her.
I start out my day walking through the doors of the wonderful Blaise Baptist Church. I then play with the little kids in the Youth Room 'til it's time for Ms.Tonya and I to load up the bus and head to MES for breakfast. (School food is gross. I do not eat it. I go for the ride.) Then it's time to come back. I help with the assembly and then it's time to chill with prek/k. When they are in bible drills and fun in the son, I go help with the first and second grade group (Ms.Tonya's). Around lunchtime, I normally chill with whatever group needs my help. I'd do anything in the world for some of those people. They are amazing.
This week has brought me closer to Jesus. I think it's seeing God through the eyes of a six year old, and through the eyes of a 47 year old that has changed my perspective. God is love. God is hope. God is my all. I have been reminded how important He is in my life. I'm done with fighting things out. I'm done with drama. I'm ready for God's plan. I'm ready for what is in store for me.

3. Sadness:
This past Sunday I had to watch one of the most amazing people I know... walk away. I met Darren somewhere around four or so years ago. He's not been a constant figure in my life, but this past August, we started attending FUMC in town. Having had his ex-wife, Crystal, as a minister, I wasn't sure how much I was going to like him. I know that I'm not as close to him as others were, but he's impacted my life with just being there and telling me how amazing I am. I balled as soon as I left church, and I normally don't cry. It was awful. I love his sermons. He's such a great guy. I wish he could stay there longer, but God is calling him to change other people's lives. To have the impact that he had on my life. I'm so appreciative of that. I just wish he could know.

4. Baseball games:
My, my, my. Cindy never fails to make me laugh. We eat McDonald's and do the craziest things. She's great. I love her and her slightly twisted sense of humor.

5. Mel's Party:
She's finally fifteen. We are so alike and yet soooo very different. I'm glad I have her as a bestfriend. I know she'll be there for me through everything. Fights and drama. Friends stick together, forever.

6. Brittany:
Dearest, I need a piccolo. Anyway, I've forgotten how silly our conversations are. Yesterday, I talked to her longer than I have in the past week. She makes me giggle. It's amazing how close we became over the past few months. She's helped me make big decisions and such. I'm truly going to miss her smiling face when I stand in front of the band room. She's been a big part of who I am today. We're not the same person, but we've got a lot of the same views on life. I definitely think I found my place, but it feels like I'm going to have to start all over again. I'm not worried about next year anymore. It's going to be okay. I have a feeling that anytime either Brittany or I need something, we'll be there for each other in a heartbeat. She's great for just talking out things. I can trust her with anything.

I hope everyone is having a great summer. Mine has started out wonderful. I'm not so sure I'll be too thrilled when it comes time for school to start up again.

You're beautiful (:

Thinking: One, I miss Brittany. It's so easy to forget how silly our conversations are. Two, I love being at day camp... even if the days are ridiculously long and just tiring. I love getting to spend time with the beautiful Tonya, and yes, she is gorgeous, even though she doesn't think so. I've had the most wonderful last two weeks. I spent time with Brittany last Monday, Coach Miller last Friday and getting to see Tonya every day this week has just been fantastic. I've forgotten how much I love camp. It's my favorite place in the world. Today, I learned something really valuable: DO NOT TAKE PRESCHOOLERS AND KINDERGARTENERS TO A ZOO. That's all. ♥

Spiddaaaamann (:

I love the long days of summer. Waking up before six, getting ready, and heading out the door. It's my favorite time of the year. I get to day camp around 7ish and the first person I see is the beautiful Tonya. She's so wired from coffee to the point of ridiculousness. Then the clock strikes eight and it's time to hit the playground. After that we head off to assembly, where we then "Celebrate Jesus." Next, the little prek/k go do bible drills and fun in the son stuff with Miss Holly and Miss Kristin. While they participate in learning, I find something to do... normally chilln' with Tonya or the other groups. By the time four o'clock rolled around.. I was ready to go home. We all gathered in the youth room. Tonya was sitting in the big chair, so I went and sat on the arm and laid behind her until it was about fiveish. I love being at day camp. The personalities of everyone around there is just amazing. They've all been great, and I love them oh so very much. Today, Tonya was walking by the classroom and they were talking about Spiderman, so she goes, 'Spiderman? Why are you talkin' bout spiderman? I thought we was post to be learnin' bout Jesus!' Oh, how I love her so much. Anyways, it's nap time. Laterrrr, (:

Anger.

I'm mad. I'm mad at SAID PERSON because they are like ignoring me now. I told them life would be different after big change in world, but whatever. I guess this is the way they want it. Life without me. Whatever.

So long, farewell, we shall meet again...

Today.

Today I listened to three speeches. I'm so proud of my seniors this year. I really am. I honestly wouldn't have made it without them. Like the three speeches, I want to thank people that have changed my life this year. Brittany, just because I'm basically the same person as her. She has more faith in me than most. She always says "I believe in you" and I really want to thank her. Today was not as emotional as I thought it would be, but I got to see my bestfriend graduate. It's not every day that a senior becomes bestfriends with a freshman. They have all meant something so great to me over this year. I love you guys with all my heart. I really do. ♥

Differences of Opinions

This picture describes who I tend to be. I'm one of those people who have lots of energy, and I love spending time with people. People. There are some people in this world that I absolutely love to death, and there are also some that I tend to dislike because they have attitudes for no reason. All the people that dislike me for various reasons don't know me. They don't know who I really am and they don't really want to know.

Today, I spent all day with my favorite teacher in this entire world, Coach Miller. I had Coach M. first semester. Having her as a teacher and just talking with her has changed a lot of my outlook on life as a whole. I really, really hated PE when I first started this year. I've always had a hate relationship with PE, but for some reason Coach M. changed my mind. She made it a fun experience for me, and I really appreciate that. During that semester, I became really close with her. One day she had to get started on brownies. That sparked a whole new level of craziness. Coach Miller and I came up with this silly, silly idea to have a brownie club. She's so awesome. We have meetings once a month. I believe our favorites are peanut butter and the M&M ones. This club helps us get to see each other since we aren't in her class anymore. I seriously miss her more than the world.
One day, after we had seen American Idol the night before, we saw the episode with the guy singing 'Pants On The Ground.' Oh my goodness. Coach Miller, Alli and I all wore our PE shorts and sweatpants and took pictures with our hats turned sideways - pants hit the ground. Oh how I love them. They make life so interesting. I'm really glad I got to have Coach M. as a teacher. She's one of those people that I know I could tell anything to, and that she would help me no matter what. I look up to her as one of my heroes. She's taught me so much just from her stories. I really appreciate her being here for me, and I know she'll always be. Our goal is the day I graduate, we will have our last brownie day. She's gonna have brownies just for me. Mann, I love her.
Today was her birthday. I love birthdays. I didn't really plan to, but I spent thirty minutes this morning just talking to her and catching up on things that have gone on. I then realized maybe I should go make sure that it's okay with TMitch that I am with her. I wrote TMitch a note and told him where I was. I then proceeded to spend until 10:15 in the gym just talking and walking around graduation practice (bothering Brittany, Kristin and Roger) and stuff. Then she left and I went back down to TMitch's room where I spent the next 2 hours running errands and helping him do various things around his classroom. At 12 I went back to the gym and spent the last hour of my freshman year with Coach Miller. I'm really glad I did. She's been the most influential teacher that I've ever had. She is someone I'll always remember. I'm hoping that we'll share more crazy stories and things over the next three years. She's awesome, and I hope she knows that we love her. ♥

Thank you.

Today was the last day of my final exams for freshman year... Tomorrow, I'm going to school for absolutely no reason. Oh well. This year has been one of the best experiences of my life. From silly drama to the bestfriends that came upon me, it's been fantastic. In all honesty, I wish my world would stay like it is right now. Without the people who cause me drama. I love my world as it is right now, and I don't want it to disappear. I know Brittany's like you'll be fine after graduation and next year will be okay, but I don't want to have to make new friends. I wanna stay where I'm at, but it looks like I have no other choice. I have to befriend others and make myself a new friend circle. Unlike what my aunt said, I do believe that at least one of the seniors graduating this year will stay my friend until the end of time. We've grown ridiculously close this year, but there is no way in the world I would want to trade that. Out of that friendship, my life has changed into a completely different person. It's also really scary that i'm like the miniature version of this person. I love you, Brittany. Thanks for making me a part of your friend circle, without you, this year would have been so different.

I tend to have more strange and violent thoughts lately. I'm feeling a somewhat mixture of emotions... sad, happy, violent, mad, hungry, angry. And I think they are all from the stress and this upcoming Saturday. It sucks more than anything that I have to watch them walk across that stage, but I'll be there supporting them, camera and all. They inspired me to one day be just like them. When I'm a senior, I hope I can influence a freshman just like they took me under their wings and showed me that high school is way more fun than being stuck with less people in the middle schools. This freshman year has been amazing, and I hope to never forget it. ♥

Do you believe in miracles?

I've found everything I've been running around looking for. It turns out it's been in a person I've least expected to find it in. Honestly, I'm glad a new friendship has emerged from the shadows. It makes me feel better to know I'll have someone to lean on next year.

Goodbyes

Today. Tooooday. Monday. Mooooonday. So, I get to the hallway. There stands Emily. The hallway starts filling up and then Mr.J finally gets there. We go in the band room. Then starts the last day of this part of my life. We got in the band room and Kyle, Mel and I separated all the marching show music for the coming year. It worries me that the only one we seem to have all of is Through The Fire and The Flames. Finally, the crew returns with the wii. After a while, we play some wii, we sit around, we do nothing. I played the traffic game on Brittany's iPod, but didn't score anything significant. We then go on an adventure for pizza and we learned how needy Brittany's car is. We then played cards for the rest of the exam time. I tended to send ugly telepathic messages to Brittany bashing some people. I mean, can they not take a hint that they are being slightly a lot more annoying than they should be. I believe that bad mood rubbed off on Brittany to the point where we're both like gee, thanks. Today was the best day, but it's also been the worst day. It was good because I got to spend it with really amazing people. It was bad because I had to say goodbye. I hate goodbyes. They stink. Tomorrow will be another day in the band room, but I have a feeling it's not going to be the same. I'm ready for this week to come and go, so that I can get past the sadness that's gonna happen. I'm ready for the next part. The new madness, annoyingness, and friendships (even though I'm not ready to give up the old ones.) The time has come to say adios. To say goodbye.

This journey i'm on is officially ending....

Here's my million dollar question of the day: Why do we judge people by their looks? Ew, he's ugly. Ew, he's fat. Ew, they look like they don't bathe. I'm guilty of doing this also. I'm horrible at judging, but I realize that my judgments are almost always wrong. I don't like those people who automatically think i'm a horrible person because of what someone else said about me. Most of the time people just start rumors because they have no life. I don't like those people who think they are always superior either. The group I've surrounded myself with are the most strange, most amazing people on this planet. Today, I went and visited Ms.Miller. I honestly think what she wrote in my yearbook was one of the most amazing things ever. She's been one of the most hard core influences in my life. I know I could go talk to her about anything and she'd be there for me in less than a minute. When I was in her class, we did anything from meditating in a bowling alley to wearing our pants on the ground to having once a month brownie club meetings. I miss her more than ever. Her stories and advice are some of the most incredible things I've ever heard. She's one of my heroes. The people I'd like to say something about that influence my everyday are... Haley, she's one of the most hilarious, most amazing bestfriends I've ever had. I don't know why it took us this long to discover an amazing friendship. Alli, dear heavens, this girl and I have been through it all, but we've also remained friends in the end. She's an amazing person and I'm lucky to have someone like her in my life. Brooklyn, she's the most funny, most random person I've ever met. I didn't really know her til this year and I'm sure we're gonna have more fantastic years together. Lorena, gah. I've known her forever. We've been through thick and thin since 1st grade. Wow, that's a really long time. Melanie, I've known her since sixth grade, but our friendship didn't really spark til this year. Ever since Marching band, we've been attached. Emily, oh goodness, she's so funny. I love that I got to know her this year. Felicia, I remember when I first met her; I didn't like her at all, but now I can tolerate her just a tad bit more, ahhaha, just kidding. Hannah, I missed you! We're lunch buddies. I don't think I'd have had it any other way. She's a really sweet person and I'm glad I got to know her before she leaves. Rachel, I hope you die. Hahahha, just kidding. You're a fantastic person and I'm glad I've got to become your friend. Cindy, oh my gosh. I always have the greatest time with her. I'm not even sure how we became sooooo close. We've been close going on four years. I can't believe it's been that long. She's the batman to my robin and that's how it will stay. Forever and always. Ms.Tonya, I love you, I go see her after school and sometimes before. It's hard to believe that I've only known her for about four years, too. She's been there for me always and I'm so very appreciative of her. I love her to death, and I'm always going to. Miss Macey, she's who I like to say is my big sis. She would be who I ate lunch with last semester. She's who I talked about everything with. She's the most beautiful person ever. Then, last but definitely not least, there's Brittany. I've already said ten million things about her, but I need to close this off with the person I've attached myself most to. I started out at the beginning of this year with Marching band camp. Brittany was the section leader and I was just the little freshman everyone made fun of. I'm not exactly sure how this friendship happened, but now we talk all the time about everything. About life, about drama, about relationships, about silly things and this list could go on and on. I'm not sure what exactly will happen when she leaves, but I'm sure she'll be fine... I'm so gonna try to be. Brittany is the most amazing musician I have personally met and no this is not me being at all biased. She's taught me that you don't have to give a single thought to what people say about you. True or not. Just be your own person. Don't bother with tiny little buttheads. And as everyone knows, I could go on and on, but I'll stop. I'm sitting here uploading these pictures to facebook and it is taking ten thousand years, but it also doesn't help if I took over two hundred in the past two days. I have five days left before I close out my entire freshman year. This year has been the best year of my life. From silly marching band bus rides to Walt Disney World to hanging out in the band room, these people have become my life. Some of them will move on and never give keeping in touch a second thought, some of them will keep in touch for maybe a year and then dwindle away, but some will keep me in their hearts forever. I hope who ever reads this understands how much I care about the people in my world. I'm not just a little kid anymore. I understand how heartbreaking losing a person can be. It sucks. I've been there done that. I'm not sure how hard graduation will hit me. Will it hit me that day or will it wait until I finally start school next year and realize I have no one? I've been thinking about this subject way too hard. They know I love them. They know I tend to over analyze things that are important to me. It's hard to learn to let go of something so important to you. I'm just now getting used to this idea. :/
XOXO

Days go by..

So, last night was beyond sad. I think it finally hit Brittany that this was her last band concert of the year. So, it's like ten at night when Jimeson finally ends that thing. I've never been more proud of a group of people. They are seriously the most amazing people in the world. Within the front row.. Brittany starts crying. I was like oh lord. I'm not so good with crying, but I'm not ready to imagine what will happen at graduation. I'm just gonna have to let life go on. The seniors this year have been my main friend group since I became close to them in Marching Band. I know they'll all go so far in life.. even if that means leaving me behind. (disliking) Next is watching my entire lunch table walk away (minus Kyle and Ashley). It stinks that all of them are leaving from Hannah, Julia, Felicia, Emily, to Brittany... I'm not sure what I would have done without them. Change is coming. Change may be for the best. I'd like to not think so, but I may have to force it upon me. I'm ready to make memories and forget about the part that everyone won't be coming back. I know they're my friends, but how many people actually will stay in touch with a freshman? Not a likely story. It's really not a good feeling that you've found where you belong and knowing that it's not gonna be the same place next year. I also have that feeling that you absolutely know you're gonna be friends with a person and they're never gonna forget you. They may stop talking to you every day because they don't see you, but they will always remember what happened and how amazing that person was. I found that person this year, but it's gonna kill me to watch graduation. Bah. I'm preparing for change as my insides cry out. Life is beautiful and so are my friends. They happen to be the reason I am who I am today. I give a lot of that credit to Brittany just because she is so ridiculously corruptive, but I love that she is. I'm gonna miss her like there isn't a tomorrow. ladfiasdf, I'm done with my soapbox.

Discoveries

Just had one horrible discovery and a great memory.

Great memory:
Goes back to this past summer where Jordan and I decided to make Ms.Tonya a pretty picture, so we took it to her car and stole some gum.. then we saw Jessica sleeping in her car and decided it would be a great idea to start throwing gum wrappers at her. She spazzed and thought it was a bug... but then she soon found out it was just us. Hahaha, those were the days.

Horrible discovery:
Melanie likes Justin Beiber. I believe I just disowned her as a friend.

Hey baby, wanna come over to myspace and twitter my yahoo til' i google all over your facebook? ;).
^ I also find that so very sketch. I don't know what possessed someone to make that into a fan page.

Grand discovery:

Postsecret
LGMH (Love Gives Me Hope)

'I'm not picking any favorites'

Today:
Woke up at 3 am. Didn't sleep so great after that. 6:15 rolls around, turn on my phone, text Ms.Tonya, all is good. Get in the shower. It's then 6:30. I then get dressed and come visit the lovely book of face where every normal human (and some not so normal ones) tend to post about their days. It's then 7 and I'm like what is going on, since normally I head off to my grandparents house and get breakfast, but this morning apparently that is not what was meant to happen. I arrive at school like whenever I got there, and I find myself in the band hallway as normal, but there standing is Will, Greg and Chase. Why was Chase there? Why? I was then waiting on Señor to get here so that I could get away from Chase, but that didn't exactly go as planned. Bah. Then off to first period with Brittany, hahaha, oh the conversations are just grand. In first period we did some EOC review, BLEH, and then had our DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) session, and we were all sitting there deeply reading and people in the hall started moving. We soon remembered that the bells weren't ringing today and we had been sitting there for like 2 minutes after we were supposed to. I was reading A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson for my summer AP class reading. On to the rest of the day, second period. Oh the lovely band. I hate that class. Today, Señor did a run through of our concert order and the lovely Brittany (who I hate right now) came in to the class. Ohh how I miss her sitting next to me. What always seems to happen when we are together in a class is writing the game on various arms/legs/hands. Hahah, we should have learned by now. After that, Brittany and I walk to the just fantastic lunch room, I don't pick favorites, bytheway. After that, mi clase de Español went alright... we are watching A Walk Through the Clouds which is like the story about how this grape farmer's daughter brings home a white boy she claims is her husband. It's sooooo good. Ehh, then came Civics, my least favorite class, if you haven't noticed. We took a test and went over two EOC review packets. Bleh, I hate that. I can't wait for that class to end. And of course, ending my day as always, I go see the beautiful Ms.Tonya then head off to the BandRoom where I find the strangest people hang out. (NERDS) When I got in the car, my dad handed me my mail.. it was a graduation invitation from Miss Brittany Victoria Clark. Hehehe, she will sooooo miss me next year. I then drove home from my Mamaw's house and ate some whales... Now, I sit here and see that Joey is trying to chat with me on facebook.. maybe I should continue on with talking to actual humans, instead of just writing to no one.
Buenas noches!

Reflections

Reflecting back on this past year:

Started off with Marching band... lemme tell ya how much I HATED camp. I didn't know anyone and it was really awkward spending almost an entire week without Melanie there for me to talk to. Football games started and people were going around saying that Mel and I were gonna quit. I hate rumors. There is this one particular game that I seem to remember more than I remember the rest. I believe it started out we were going to like Independence in Charlotte or whatever and we stopped to eat and Brittany had been on a different bus than us. She then ended up switching to our bus and we were all jacked up on Starbucks, so that bus ride sparked a whole new friendship.

As this year continued, I've made so many new acquaintances and friendships... from the seniors graduating to the wacky freshman, I know they will always be there. Starting off with first semester, Freshman band was my first period. Somehow, Brittany talked me in to playing piccolo and after like 3264684 months of practice, I think I'm gonna actually enjoy playing it. My second period was just the lovely earth science class where I became friends with Haley, and I wouldn't trade that for the world. She's hilarious and one of the most amazing people I've become close to. Third period, my favorite class, was PE. That class was just the most amazing PE class I have ever had. My PE class was like a family. With Pants on the Ground to Brownies, Coach M and Alli are the two people I'm glad I got to spend that with. Then came Geometry, I hated that class. I just didn't understand it, but it sparked new friends. BHess and I became pretty good friends during that class and Woody would sit there for who knows how long just trying to get my attention for a fist bump. Ahh, the good days.

My second semester starts of with English. Oh my goodness. This class has shown me that it's not so bad learning grammar. I do believe it's one of the greatest classes I will ever have. Ms. Dunn is one of the most amazing teachers I could have gotten for this year. In that class, I've made so many new friends... especially just the people that sit around me. They make life interesting. From then there is Concert Band, I absolutely DESPISE that class. I love music and band, but concert band is just like the bottom of the totem pole. Even though this class is awful, the front row ladies I have become very close with. They are my five bestfriends and I know each of them would be there for me, no matter if we talk every day or not. I love them MORE THAN THE WORLD. From then there is Spanish, I love what I've learned and having Mrs.Holbrook and Mr.Hoyle has really been a great experience. From then I have Civics, I tend to hate this class, but that is just because the subject isn't the greatest. During my normal day, I go visit Ms.Tonya after school. She's one of the greatest people I've ever met. I can tell her anything and I know she'd be there for me in a minute. I love her to death, and her crazy sense of humor makes me giggle.

Lunches this year:
First semester: I ate with the beautiful Macey and I wouldn't trade that for the world. She's helped me get through countless things and she's one of the biggest influences on my life. I love her.
Second semester: I'm not sure a lunch table could have any more people sitting around it. It's pretty much made of seniors, but that lunch time is my time to get away from the world and just talk to the people I've found myself to be just like. I love all of them. :D

During marching season (and still to this day), I tended to spend every waking moment/ weekend with Mel. We are like sisters. We've been so many places and done so many things this past year. I don't know where in the world i'd be with out her. Another person who has made this year unforgettable would be Brittany. I know, I know, I talk about her all the time, but she's really a great person. Everyone is gonna get tired of me saying this, but I wish she was going to be here next year. For someone I was sure I wasn't going to get along with, she's one of the best friends I could ever have. I'm not exactly sure how the whole Brittany not being here is going to work, but I'll have people here to help me get through it.

I've become so close to so many people that are graduating. It breaks my heart to watch all of the people I stand with in the mornings, to just cross that stage and walk away from me forever. I know they aren't gonna forget me, but they're gonna be so occupied that it's gonna be hard to talk to them and tell them what is going on. I'll miss them like crazy. They've meant so much to me this year. :///

Now, as I'm closing this freshman year, I'd like to say it's been one of the most memorable experiences of my life. From marching band to sitting around a lunch table of laughter, it's been a great year and a life changing experience.
